The Entrepad

The L'AINE Foundation’s Entrepad program set up to run in various schools in Ghana, is a unique entrepreneurial career program that helps students explore and launch new enterprises while they are still in school, before they have other commitments after school such as mortgages and full-time jobs.

This program is a private-sector initiative designed to provide mentoring, business support and training to students from tertiary institutions in Ghana. The Entrepad is accessible to students from any discipline providing practical "just in time" skills training and mentoring to students wishing to be entrepreneurs. It is a real breakthrough that holds promise for every campus in the country. Shrinking job opportunities and a rising unemployment rate will likely make the concept of entrepreneurship as a career path even more appealing, but The EntrePad gives students and alumni concrete tools and guidance to make it a reality.

Our goal is to make entrepreneurship a viable alternative for every student. The EntrePad presents entrepreneurship as a legitimate career path for students and helps both students and alumni create new enterprises. The EntrePad program will provide advice and guidance; connects ideas, people and resources; and builds relationships within the local urban and rural business communities
